As the epitome of the girl next door, we watched the Joey Potter’s love life bounce from soulmate and childhood best friend Dawson Leery to the town bad boy, Pacey Witter. After Dawson’s Creek ended, this 90s TV star has been in movies like Mad Money and Batman Begins. She has also starred in the TV mini-series, The Kennedys, in which she portrayed Jackie Kennedy. Perhaps what she is most well-known for is her brief five-year marriage to Tom Cruise (“TomKat”) and her brief stint as a member of the Church of Scientology. Most recently, there have been rumors about a romantic relationship brewing between Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx, although their reps have adamantly denied all of these rumors.


Will Smith (Will Smith)

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is one of the most successful TV stars of the 90’s. This 90s TV star first played leading roles in Bad Boys, Independence Day, Men In Black, and Wild Wild West. More recently, he played leading roles in Ali, I Am Legend, Hitch, The Pursuit of Happyness, and Concussion. He also has a role in the much-anticipated supervillian movie, Suicide Squad. Smith has also had large amount of success in the TV and music industries. He has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards, two Academy Awards, and won four Grammy Awards.


Steve Urkel (Jaleel White)


With those oversized glasses and classic suspenders, Steve Urkel popularized the catchphrase “Did I do that?” on the sitcom Family Matters. Since the show, this 90s TV star has made a few appearances on various TV shows, including NCIS, House, CSI, Psych, Castle, and Hawaii Five-O. He was the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog in the animated TV Show and video games. He also played a small part in the popular movie Dream Girls, with Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy and Beyonce.


Michelle Tanner (Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen)


The best catchphrase from the popular sitcom became famous by little, yet sassy Michelle Tanner. “You got it dude!” was the ultimate affirmation of approval. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen split the duty of portraying the baby of the Tanner family throughout the duration of the show. After the show, they saw success in the tween market, where they starred in many straight-to-VHS movies. This included Billboard Dad, Our Lips are Sealed, Passport to Paris, and Winning London (just to name a few). Mary Kate made a brief appearance in rehab due to anorexia in 2004. They built a fashion empire, which began with a teen clothing line at Walmart. Now, they head the couture fashion label “The Row,” in addition to a few other clothing lines. They are not involved in the spin-off show “Fuller House” on Netflix.


Sabrina Spellman (Melissa Joan Hart)


In the early 90’s, she was best known as Clarissa Darling on the Nickelodeon Show, Clarissa Explains It All. Later, this 90s TV star portrayed Sabrina Spellman on the popular show, Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. She starred in the popular teen movie, Drive Me Crazy, and then also played a role as a waitress in Britney Spears’ music video “Crazy.” She placed sixth in Dancing With the Stars in 2009 with partner, Mark Ballas. She starred in a few ABC Family Original movies, including a couple with Mario Lopez. Most recently, she starred alongside fellow 90’s star Joey Lawrence, in the show Melissa and Joey on ABC family.
