Cardio

There was a time when most folks shied away from scales and calorie/carb counting programs. Whether for like of time or money, or fear of numbers, those days are over. There are countless methods for keeping track of your diet, exercise, hydration, and your overall well-being. Phone apps are at the forefront of making a healthy lifestyle more accessible and, more importantly, do-able. For instance, some apps map out workouts that pertain to your goals, as well as your height, weight, gender, etc. They also give you access to nutrition indexes that shows the amount of calories, carbs, fat, sugar, etc. in anything from Taco Bell to Subway to a homemade meal.

There are several apps to choose from, and many of them are free. Technology, in the form of television and video games, often times hinders people from keeping up with diet and exercise, but this is literally a free trainer and nutritionist in your pocket. There has never been a better excuse to get in shape.
